RECIPE COST ESTIMATOR & SHOPPING LIST

USER GUIDANCE NOTES

1. The left-hand 'green' column lists all the ingredients called for by our various recipes, in alphabetical order. A "package" means any form of containment normally found in a supermarket.

2. In the event that a User should not have a required ingredient in their store cupboard, the 'yellow' column provides an approximate cost for purchasing a defined package thereof.

3. The 'blue' column provides User with an opportunity to create a shopping list for ingredients not in their kitchen cupboard, and other items for the weekly shop if desired.

4. The right hand 'pink' column is for User to insert quantities of all the ingredients required, taken from the recipe, thereby automatically calculating the approximate total cost which appears at the bottom.

Note: The calculator can be used for more than one recipe at a time of course, it being up to User to progressively note separate totals if required.

5. And finally, User is at liberty to change prices and quantities in the yellow columns in order to reflect the actual current situation at their local store and provide more accurate cost totals.

BEATING THE BASTARDS at their own game.

The larger the packet, can, carton, or jar that you buy in a food market, the better the value that you will get for your money.
